Resident stages lamppost protest

Neighbourhood Watch

A new neighbourood watch group has been set up on York Road. This has been done in a slightly apologetic and nervous manner, as befits the pseudo/quasi-anarchic disposition of Montpelier. However, it does boast the most absurd name of all NW groups: "Mork". Members of Mork receive regular updates on crime patterns in the immediate vicinity of York Road, and other bits and pieces about crime/police in the area from time to time. I've never been a busybody but I might be willing to have a go

Yes, Neighbourhood Watch. Following the last meeting in the pub, I contacted Kim Dudderidge and said I might be interested in getting involved. However, I am away for several weeks of the year and it is not clear if this would be very helpful. She asked if I knew anyone else interested. Is there anyone out there?

So many different groups!

First, thanks to the organizers for last night's meeting - well done.

Following discussion about there being many different "networks"/activities etc connected with Montpelier, I had a bit of a look round today and thought I would post a couple of links:
