Hello, my name is Nadia and I coordinate the community food growing scheme called GROFUN which stands for Growing Real Organic Food in Urban Neighbourhoods. The idea is simple, we support local people to develop a small veggie patch in their own garden and those participating lend a hand with the work, offer support during the growing season and eventually all benefit from a share of everything we grow!

Its totally free to join, we are recruiting now for our second season and there is a film you can watch of the project's first year.


Also, we are having an informal meeting for anyone with an interest to be held at The Albany this Wednesday 19th March about half six. We will be showing the film here too.

Thanks Des. Shame all the 'wider context stuff was edited out. No mention of Oil Depletion and its consequences for example. No surprise there tho.
I wonder what all the other members think of the GROFUN idea?
