Neighbourhood Watch
A new neighbourood watch group has been set up on York Road. This has been done in a slightly apologetic and nervous manner, as befits the pseudo/quasi-anarchic disposition of Montpelier.
However, it does boast the most absurd name of all NW groups: "Mork".
Members of Mork receive regular updates on crime patterns in the immediate vicinity of York Road, and other bits and pieces about crime/police in the area from time to time. None of the members own net curtains or notepads. We do however exchange secret hand signals from our doorsteps, which we didn't get to do before.

Good move by the Mork ! Sounds like community safety can be fun .
I expect that St Andrews and Richmond Road will follow your lead sooner or later... any movers and shakers out of apathy out there ?
