The Future of Montpelier Park - Questionnaire

The Montpelier Action and Montpelier Village Groups, working with the Council's Central Area Parks team, wish to consult local residents about if and how you presently use Montpelier Park, issues you may have, and views and ideas about how to develop and improve it so that it is a valuable public green space and recreational facility into the future.
There are now good prospects of funding for a new improvement project, and/or completion of previous works proposed for Montpelier Park from the 'planning gain' money paid to the Council by the developers of both the Ashley Court Hotel (Ashley Down Road) and Dovercourt Garage (Bath Buildings) sites. We'll keep you updated on this.
At the wonderful Festive Market Fayre held last Friday 14 Dec, we started the consultation by handing out a Questionnaire which you can also download from this web site (see the Word file link above) . It is only 2 pages and should not take much more than 5-10 minutes to complete. The consultation period will continue until 29 February. So why not download the questionnaire from here today, and give us your views and ideas ? Please email your completed forms to montpelieraction@hotmail.co.uk .
We are also planning to distribute the questionnaire door-to-door throughout Montpelier over weekends of 12/13 and 19/20 January. To do this, and make an easy job of it, we need about 10 volunteers to do half to one street each. Please get in touch (via the above email address, or the Park Forum on this site) if you can help with this.
